| 'Investment Direct' is a service provided by UK Life Direct Ltd, a firm of independent financial advisers which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services
Authority to trade in the UK. The business was established over 7 years ago by Kieran Platt and Steve Wroe, both experienced independent financial advisers. In September 2006 we moved into new purpose built offices on the Riverside Business Park, in a converted 'barn' formerly occupied by part of the vast 'K' shoes factory in Kendal, Cumbria (shoe production moved to India as part of a cost cutting move by Clarks). |

Kendal is on the edge of the Lake District, 12 miles from Lake Windermere. Our offices are on the outskirts of Kendal, superbly located by the River Kent, which flows out into Morecambe Bay just a few miles away. We provide independent financial advice to our long standing local clients, without whom we could not have launched our business. We continue to provide an ongoing service to these clients, who grow our business for us via 'word of mouth'. Recently we have recognised the opportunity exists to provide a valuable service to price-savvy investors nationwide. By providing new investments for zero commission we can provide an unbeatable proposition. Both new and existing investors can also participate in our 'trail commission' sharing service - enabling clients to receive an annual payment of commission that would otherwise be retained by their financial adviser. |
